PEG Talks 2 Nashville Singer Songwriter Angela Wright This is our 2nd Interview with Angela Wright. We talk about songwriting in this Covid 19 Era.
BIO Angela is a 20 year old vocalist, from Salt Lake City, Utah. She has an emphasis in pop with a country tilt. She is classically trained, but has a diverse range and style, as well as many hours of performance time, opening for Air Supply, performing with a band formed at Berklee, and as a soloist. Her songs speak to the listener as her musical stories span across pop, rock, and country genres. Some of her biggest influences are Etta James, Chris Isaak, Lana Del Rey, Kacey Musgraves, Kelly Clarkson, Florence and The Machine, Adele, Cigarettes After Sex, Marren Morris. She attended Berklee College of Music in Boston in 2018 as a vocal principle in songwriting. In early 2019 she decided to head to Nashville with some musician friends, to seek the next chapter in her singing career. Casually performing with a band, Angela has gotten more gigs and writing done, but is focusing on her solo career while in Nashville.
