I've just listened to the part of today's Q&A which referred to inversions. I had already forgotten that I had asked you that question! 🤭 It has suprised me when I've heard my name...hahaha. "I forgive you!" 🤪 I refered to subject-auxiliary INVERSIONS as you said in: OBJECT QUESTIONS: Are you sleeping? / Where will you go? SHORT AGREEMENT EXPRESSIONS: So is she. / Neither will you. But I have as well listened to them or read them in: CONDITIONAL SENTENCES (in what contexts?!): Should you have any more questions, please write them down. / Had she called me, I would have accepted her offer. CERTAIN EXPRESSIONS/COMPOUND or DOUBLE CONJUNCTION: Not only did she scratched my car, but also she drove away without an apology. Hardly had I opened the door when my dog jumped to try and lick my face. I just to wanted to unify somehow the most common cases where this happened in English. And after some quick digging into a few grammar books, I found out that INVERSIONS in situations with NEGATIVE ADVERBS, EXPRESSIONS BEGINNING WITH 'NOT' and THE ADVERBS 'HERE' and 'THERE' [in this case, there's no auxiliary involved; just the place adverb plus the main verb and then the subject: Here comes the bride!]
