There is no better way to celebrate your birthday (my birthday was last Feb. 16th) recording an episode with an indie musician. What we cooked today is an episode full of experiences and great chat with Nicole Belanus, a Virginian resident who had the wonderful experience of living in Guam and Japan, besides other places. These experiences, we might say, has taken form on her songs. You need to listen to her songs. As an example, the first song in this episode is Breathe Fire and the last one is Prerequisite. You have to listen almost to the end when I asked her about her album titles. All of you know that being an independent musician is not an easy job, but when you put so much passion on it, the burden feels lighter and I only ask from you is to listen to her music and be part of this community of support of non-commercial/indie musicians. If you happened to live in the DC Metro Area, I strongly suggest that you go to one of her presentations you will love her lyrics and singing. If you live abroad, follow her on www.nicolebelanus.com and buy one of her CDs, you will not regret it.
