On December 15, 1890, Sitting Bull, known as Tatanka Iyotake was killed by his own people: the Indian Police, now known as the BIA (Bureau of Indian Affairs).
Since Sitting Bull's killing, Indian agents such as the BIA, and BIA-incorporated tribal governments such as the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe have been cast in doubt since both are arms of the United States of America.
FEB 1, 2017: A fork in the road arose February 1st, 2017 when BIA police with Morton County Police arrested 76 water protectors including Chase Iron Eyes, Congressional candidate & Oceti Oyate Camp focalizer, for setting up a new camp, The Last Child Camp.
FEB 2, 2017: The day after the first raid. Vanessa Castle was arrested going to listen to the hearing at the court house on an unseen warrant. Also, the police, Army Corp of Engineers, ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives), SRST (Standing Rock Sioux Tribe) Council entered Sacred Stone Camp without permission. SRST claims they own 60% of Sacred Stone Camp land & don't need permission to enter.
FUTURE. Now at this fork in the road. do the Oceti Sakowin (Lakota, Dakota, Nakota) keep following the path set for them by the US government or will they set a Sovereign Path to protect Mother Earth?
